The Olive oil would aid in lubrication to pass the stone more easily.

Preparation:

  • Take four tablespoons or a quarter cup of fresh lemon juice.
  • Add an equal amount of Olive oil into it and mix well.

Drink this mixture and then drink a glass of water.  Do this two to three times a day, upto several days until the stone passes.

This method may not be suitable for people with larger stones; those with smaller kidney stones can try this method.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar helps to dissolve kidney stones. It also has an alkalinizing effect on blood and urine and promoting the production of hydrochloric acid in the body to prevent the formation of kidney stones.

Preparation:

  • Mix two tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of honey in one cup of warm water.

Try an apple cider vinegar tonic first thing in the morning, again around midday, and a third time in the evening to get rid of your kidney stones.  If the stones are passed, you are advised to continue drinking this solution one to two times a week to prevent future occurrences.

4. Pomegranate Juice

The seeds and juice of pomegranates can be considered as a natural remedy for kidney stones. A study concluded that pomegranate juice prevents the formation of certain types of kidney stones.

  • Try to eat one whole pomegranate or drink one glass of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice daily. You can mix pomegranate in a fruit salad also.
  • You can also eat pomegranate seeds paste. Grind one tablespoon of pomegranate seeds into a fine paste. Eat this paste along with a cup of horse gram soup once daily. This will help to dissolve the stones.

5. Kidney Beans

The shape of this bean may be indicative of its healing potential. Kidney beans are not only very high in fiber, they’re also a great source of non-animal protein, Vitamins and minerals that improve urinary tracts and kidney health.
